Filippo Folino establish the first premises for the treatment of the olives, locating the facility in an old 1800 oil mil which was named "trappito" (ancient oil mil whose grinders were dragged from a donkey to extract the oil from the olives), in Contrada Santo Sidero, a small village in South Italy in the Calabria region
