LEIs (Legal Entity Identifiers) is a unique number associated with each entity, representing a global standard for the promotion of certainty of identity among players who trade and transact in global markets. The registry is ruled by GLEIF (Global Legal Identifier Foundation) and the registrations are managed by officially appointed LOU (Local Operating Units).
LEI is a number standardized via ISO certificate 17442. It consists of a combination of 20 digits and letters.
